The Dietrich Bonhoeffer Hospital, our long-standing customer, has upgraded its software solution NEXUS / OBSTETRICS to the latest version.
As an academic teaching hospital of Greifswald University Hospital, the hospital (governed by Diakonie Klinikum Dietrich Bonhoeffer GmbH) treats around 87,000 outpatients and inpatients a year in 28 departments and institutions led by senior consultants. It is therefore one of the largest medical institutions in the state of Mecklenburg-West Pomerania.
Nearly 1,000 babies are born each year in its gynaecology and obstetrics department. Spring 2018 saw the completion of an extensive refurbishment programme, including the installation of cutting-edge technology and four new delivery rooms. NEXUS supported this modernisation with an upgrade of the hospital’s gynaecology software.
The hospital therefore continues to rely on NEXUS solutions; the upgrade representing a decisive step on its future-focussed journey. As part of this, the hospital's existing modules, GebDat (obstetrics management) and ARGUS (CTG), including legacy data, were migrated into the NEXUS / OBSTETRICS all-in-one solution. In addition to the familiar features, the system offers many new ones, such as the digital partogram, antenatal care and pre-natal diagnostics.
