NEXUS AG acquires leading Software Company for Tracking of Sterile Instruments
NEXUS AG has acquired all shares of IBH Datentechnik GmbH, Kassel, on 5th September 2016. With approx. 710 Installations and 20 employees the company is considered as market leading for sterile good tracking software solutions and operating instrument management in the healthcare industry in Germany.
For hospitals the management of sterile goods and instruments is increasingly critical. Prevention of infection and the management of operation theatre depends highly on an efficient management of sterile goods.
With the acquisition of IBH, NEXUS continues its investment in this important area within the healthcare industry. Today, NEXUS has 400 installations in France, Austria and Germany and is already a highly recognized provider of software solutions for central sterilization departments in Europe.
The acquisition of IBH strengthens the European market position of NEXUS further. Approx. 710 CSDs in 20 countries are using the software of IBH. Through the merge of NEXUS and IBH customers will have access to a highly competitive portfolio and the ensuring that sterilization processes a seamlessly integrated into the hospital information system (NEXUS / HIS).
Within the NEXUS Group IBH will be managed as an independent company and the product group EuroSDS© and NetBox.2 will also be sold outside of the NEXUS portfolio.
