Ad hoc: Strong Growth and significant Increase in Profit in Q3

Villingen-Schwenningen, 12 November 2012: NEXUS AG, Villingen Schwenningen,
listed in Prime Standard, improved its sales to KEUR 43,807 in the first
nine months 2012 from KEUR 38,436 (+ 14.0%) and achieved a substantially
better result before taxes of KEUR 4,299 compared to KEUR 3,573 in the
previous year (+ 20.3%).

The EBIT was KEUR 3,985 to KEUR 3,369 (+ 18.3%) compared to the previous
year. The EBITDA improved from KEUR 7,829 to KEUR 8,552 (+ 9.2%) while the
result after tax increased by 19.9% from KEUR 3,630 to KEUR 4.351.

Sales in the core business, Healthcare Software, increased by 16.0 % to
KEUR 40,993 (previous year: KEUR 35,332) in the first nine months. The
Healthcare Service Division closed KEUR 2,814 after KEUR 3,104 about 9.3%
under the previous years value.
In the third quarter, sales of KEUR 15,039 were recorded following KEUR
13,892 in the previous year (+ 8.3%). The result before tax in the third
quarter is KEUR 1,321 and is about 45% higher than the value of the
previous year (Q3-2010: KEUR 914).
The operative cash flow of KEUR 7.663 is below the level of the previous
year (previous year: KEUR 8,662). In the previous year advance payments for
largescale projects have been made which are discounted in the current
year. The foreign share of Group sales was about 45.1% in the first nine
months compared to 43.5% in the previous year.

Due to the positive earnings the cash reserves and securities increased
significantly to 23,8 million EUR. NEXUS AG had equity capital of approx.
EUR 60,6 million on 30 September 2012. The group has not any essential
financial liabilities and the equity capital rate is 72% of the balance
sheet.
