Villingen-Schwenningen - 16 August 2016: NEXUS AG, specialized in hospital software, was able to increase sales by approx. 10 % and its result before taxes and interest (EBIT) by approx. 16 % in the first half-year 2016. As a result, the long-term and sustainable positive development of NEXUS Group of recent years could be continued.
Sales increased by 10.1 % from KEUR 47,051 (1st HY 2015) to KEUR 51,804 in the first half-year 2016. KEUR 47,742 were recorded in the Healthcare Software Division following KEUR 43,454 (+9.9 %) in the first half-year 2015. KEUR 4,062 were recorded in the Healthcare Service Division following KEUR 3,597 (+12.9 %) in the first half-year 2015.
The result before interest and taxes (EBIT) in the amount of KEUR 4,948 improved compared to the same period last year by 15.5 % (1st HY 2015: KEUR 4,284). The EBITA increased by 5.9 % from KEUR 8,295 (1st HY 2015) to KEUR 8,788. EBITDA reached KEUR 9,472, an increase of 6.2 % (1st HY 2015: KEUR 8,923).
The operative cash flow developed very strongly with an increase of 34.4 %. KEUR 14,672 were achieved in the first six months 2016 following KEUR 10,924 (1st HY 2015). Our liquid assets have increased correspondingly strongly and increased to KEUR 27,320 on 30 June 2016 (30 June 2015: KEUR 20,529). Dividends in the amount of KEUR 2,202 (2015: KEUR 1,961) were paid in 2016.
NEXUS AG has equity capital amounting to KEUR 91,554. As a result, NEXUS AG has a sustainable and healthy balance sheet as well as sufficient capital for further financing of its European growth strategy.
